桜が散った後には、藤が満開の季節を迎え、至る所に藤の淡い青色を見ることができます。少し散歩する機会があったので、裏道に入ってみると藤のトンネルがありました。敢えてゆっくりと、普段車で通る道を歩いて通ってみることも大切なのだと思います。

をしました。6/22に次の昇級試験が決まりましたので、ラストスパートです。普段稽古では色々な技をお手本を見ながら真似をしてやっていますが、技の名前を指名されて、その技を体で表現するのは思った以上に難しいものです。そして、相手や場面が変わると、同じ技を表現することもやはり難しいことだということです。それが昇級試験です。昇級試験を終えると、技の理解がより一層深まるように感じます。それは自ら、技を想像してそれを体で表現するという、普段の稽古よりも難しいことを練習するからだと思います。その上達を目指して、皆さんと楽しんでいこうと思います。
After the cherry blossoms have fallen, we welcome the season of full bloom wisteria, and everywhere you look, you can see the pale blue of the wisteria. I had a chance for a little walk, so I ventured onto a side street where I found a tunnel of wisteria. Taking the time to deliberately walk along the road I usually drive on is also important, I think.

We practiced for the upcoming grading exam on June 22nd, so it’s the final push. During regular practice, we often mimic various techniques while watching demonstrations, but being called upon to express a technique with our bodies, just by its name, is more challenging than expected. Moreover, expressing the same technique can be difficult when the partner or situation changes. That’s what the grading exam is about. After the grading exam, I feel that my understanding of the techniques deepens even further. I think it’s because we practice something even more challenging than our usual practice, which is to imagine the technique and then express it with our bodies. I look forward to enjoying this journey with everyone as we strive for improvement.
